21 October 2023 - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Being Buddhist in Britain is a one-day, in-person conference that will explore what being Buddhist means in Britain to Buddhist practitioners and academics of Buddhist studies hailing from diverse Buddhist traditions.
The conference will include group discussions, short talks, and experiences, which will cover some important topics including gender, race, and social class, covid-19, and being young and Buddhist, and create space for one-to-one dialogues and connections.
Being Buddhist in Britain is co-organised by The UK Association for Buddhist Studies (UKABS), the Network of Buddhist Organisations UK (NBOs), and the Centre for Applied Buddhism (CfAB).
